I am researching the open source software world since approx. 15 years. At this time I am interested in developing the Pharmacy Dispensary module for the sake of the Social Infirmary of Thessaloniki, along with a team of seven undergraduate students. We have elicited requirements for several use cases and we would like to implement them within the current version of OPENEMR.

As of May 2013 major Use Cases are:

Out of stock control

Near expiration control (drugs that are about to expire)

Display expired drugs

Manual deletion of drugs

Manual insertion of drugs

Find similar drugs (according to active ingredient)

Drug search based on active ingredient

Drug list management

Active ingredient list management
