XAMPP now installs via merely double clicking the downloaded .dmg file and following instructions.
One cannot turn off WEB SHARING via the SHARING preferences in MacOS Sierra anymore. Existing open PHP and MySql servers will need to be shut via the command line in Terminal The video showing the installation of XAMPP is outdated.--Ben Wulfsohn 14:24, 24 February 2017 (UTC)
