Finding the Device
- Look inside "/var/log/dmesg" after plugging in modem.
- Device should start with "tty".
- cat /var/log/dmesg | grep tty
- ps -lax | grep getty
- List USB Devices
- lsusb
Starting & Stopping
- sudo /etc/init.d/hylafax stop
- sudo /etc/init.d/hylafax start
Testing
- Send a Test FAX
- sendfax -n -d 8139572400 /usr/share/doc/hylafax-server/copyright
