scanModem
Software that scans modem, identifies it, and gives instructions on how to configure it.

Finding the Device
dmesg
dmesg | grep tty
- Look inside "/var/log/dmesg" after plugging in modem.
- Device should start with "tty".
- cat /var/log/dmesg | grep tty
- ps -lax | grep getty
- List USB Devices
- lsusb
Starting & Stopping
- sudo /etc/init.d/hylafax stop
- sudo /etc/init.d/hylafax start
Testing the Modem
