Dummy Guide

From OpenEMR Project Wiki
The printable version is no longer supported and may have rendering errors. Please update your browser bookmarks and please use the default browser print function instead.

This extra Language was created so any term in OpenEMR can be checked for translation. Every translated sentence should be translated into "dummy". If another word is found, the cause is most probably due to lack of xl(...) coding.

An example is: Your Clinic Name Here.
Using this language gives rise to some problems, since you have to click "dummy" to find "dummy" and to see what else "dummy" was intending to "dummy". In real openEMR it is as confusing as reading the former sentence to explain.

Keep your go around in openEMR in writing next to your keyboard, or a second version in another language next to the one you are working in dummy-Language, otherwise you loose track in a few Clicks.
