Communication Log

The communication log is a form of communication between the technicians in a laboratory. This is a systematic way of notifying individuals of normal laboratory behavior that they need to be aware of as they come onto their shift. Typical examples of communication log entries include:

Received new controls with date and time of receipt

Received new reagents for a particular analyzer.

Placed new controls into service

Calibration was performed.

Check for normal behavior
